Minimalistic designs are elegant.

Having a poster in your bedroom, wallpaper in the living room, and even a rug on entrances add more depth to details. Having more texture in your home will look like your design is finished. Without more textures, your home might look cheap and unfinished.
A home can be compared to a painting. What makes a painting great and sometimes even more realistic is having the smallest details. In a painting, if the subject is a person, the artist will make sure that even strands of hair will be visible. Just like your home, if the tiniest things in your house look classy and expensive, it will make the overall of your house have an extra expensive appearance.
