If you’re applying for a UK visa, chances are you have to send in some documents to the British government electronically before your application can be processed and approved. If you don’t know how to do this, it may seem like an impossible task, but don’t worry—we can help! These instructions on how to self-upload documents for a UK visa will help you take full advantage of this new system and make your trip to the United Kingdom much easier.
How does it work?
Logging into your account and clicking will bring you to the next page. Three sections need your attention: personal details, application form, and documents. The personal details require your name, date of birth, and gender. For the application form, you’ll need to fill out questions about why you want this visa and what you will do in the UK. Finally, upload any documents you have (like bank statements) and submit them! If you don’t know how to do it, you can ask Synergy Immigration Services for a UK visa and immigration service.
Save all the supporting documents as PDFs.
The first step is to complete all the personal information on the form, including your address and contact details. Once you have done this, you can upload your supporting documents. These documents will be uploaded in PDF format, so before starting your uploading process, save all documents in a PDF file.
Log in on your My VISA Account
To upload your documents, go to your My VISA Account and select the type of visa you would like. From there, you will be taken through the steps needed to upload your documents. Follow the instructions carefully to ensure your application is processed as quickly as possible.
Data Entry Process
You will need your details, the visa application reference number if you have one and the following information about the person you are applying on behalf of: their name, date of birth, nationality, address in the United Kingdom and contact telephone number.
In addition to this information, you will need two passport-size photos and copies of any supporting documents you want to upload with your application. Synergy Immigration Services for UK visa and immigration service can assist you throughout the process.
Click on the Upload Supporting Document link.
1. Go to the Documents tab and click Add Document.
2. Use the pop-up window, select the file you want, and press upload. You’ll see a notification once your upload is complete. Repeat this process until you’ve uploaded all of your documents.
3. Click on the document you want to attach and select Attach document from the drop-down menu. Fill out any required fields in the pop-up window before pressing Submit.
Choose the file from your computer.
Click on My documents and find the file you want to upload. Click on Open the document. This will open the document so you can check it over one last time before uploading it. Once you’re satisfied, click upload. The document will upload within seconds, and then the status bar indicates how long until your document is ready.
Finally, Submit the Application
Once you have uploaded your documents, filled out the form and attached all your supporting documents, you need to apply. The Home Office will review the application, and the decision letter will be emailed to you if accepted. You may also receive an email if there are any problems with your application.
