You’ll surely be surprised to know that it’s not your skincare products that are adding to your acne woes. Some daily habits are probably bringing the worst nightmare to life-acne. Be it over-cleansing or touching the face constantly, there are some most common mistakes that cause acne breakouts recommended by dermatologists.     1.      Excessive Face Washing

    Well, it’s a myth that the more frequently you wash your face, the fresher you feel, which most people are living. Washing the face excessively can remove essential oil from the facial skin, requiring the body to produce more oil, and resulting in an increased number of pimples or zits on the face. So, if you are also doing the same in your daily routine, then now you need to stop. Maybe you feel fresh for a few minutes but surely confront acne over a while. It is highly suggested to restrict the number of face washes to only two during the day, i.e., in the morning and evening.

    2.      Avoid using harsh products

    Another common mistake you are making the most is using harsh chemical products, which can result in acne.     4.      Not cleaning your mobile phones frequently

    Being a modernist and not being addicted to your phone is unbelievable! Some constant scrolling down on Instagram and 24*7 texting can transfer all the germs from your hands to your phone and then reach onto your face. The bacteria on the phone tends to clog your pores, ultimately resulting in acne on your cheeks. Every few hours, you need to clean your phone screen using a clean soft cloth. Not just your phone, if you’re constantly on your keyboard, it’s ideal to clean that too or wash off your hands before touching your face unconsciously.

    5.      Not applying sunscreen

    A sunburn can dry out pimples temporarily, but it can end up making the skin have breakouts. Not using sunscreen will help to protect it from the sun’s UV rays which can affect acne breakouts. Also, some people use sunscreen excessively, which can also result in acne. Because it can clog the pores and disallow them from breathing, thus increasing the risk of acne.
